Frangokastello (Western beach)
Situated 80 kilometers far from Chania at the South, the beach at the West of Frangokastelo is a pebbly beach with a rocky seabed, very good for snorkelling; the beach is open to the south and affected by the southern winds.

There are accommodation facilities in the beach hotels, which also offer their customers some swimming and sunbathing facilities; for food, drink and refreshments the access to the hotels is free for all.

Access from Chania is possible by public bus and rented or private car and motorbike.

Access from Frangokastelo on foot.

Frangokastello (Castle)
Situated 80 kilometers far from Chania at the South, the beach in front of Frangokastelo is a sandy beach with white - pink sand and very shallow and warm water, ideal for children and elderly people; the beach is affected by the southern winds.

Well organised, it offers accommodation facilities, food and drink and facilities for swimming and sunbathing (sun beds, umbrellas).

Access from Chania is possible by public bus and rented or private car and motorbike.
