Galatas, Chania Crete

Situated 6 kilometers far from Chania, at the West, Galatas is a tourist village 1 kilometer far from the sea, just off the National Road to Kissamos (Kastelli), with 2.120 permanent residents.

Full facilities of lodging, eating and amusement are offered to the visitors who choose to stay in the village, or at the nearby beaches of Kato Galatas, Glaros and Kalamaki.

Access to the village is possible by public bus, running regularly, and rented or private car and motorbike.
