Kolymbari beach, Chania Crete |

24 kilometers far from Chania at the West, just off the Old National Road to Kastelli, it is found the beach of Kolymbari, a pebbly beach affected by the “meltemia” (northern summer winds) and with currents in some places, which may do swimming dangerous, particularly when there is wind. |

Well organised, it offers accommodation facilities, food and drink and facilities for swimming and sunbathing (sun beds, umbrellas, sea sports etc). Access is possible by public bus running regularly and taxi from Chania or Kastelli, as well as by private and rented car and motorbikes. |
