Situated at the Southern coast of the Souda bay, 2 kilometers far from Kalyves and 17 kilometers far from Chania at the East, just off the Old National Road to Rethymnonn, Kyani Akti is a sandy beach, protected enough and not affected by the “meltemia” (northern summer winds).

Not very organised, it offers some accommodation facilities, food and drink and facilities for swimming and sunbathing (sun beds, umbrellas); due to the lower level of facilities available, it is less crowded than the Kalyves beach.
