Situated some 70 kilometers far from Chania at the South and approximately 3 kilometers far from Sougia at the West, Lissos is a remote beach with pebbles, open to the South and affected by the southern winds.
No facilities of lodging, food and drink are offered at the beach, but you may visit the ruins of ancient Lissos, which is in the interior, approximately an hour walk.
Access from Chania is possible by rented or private car and motorbike till Sougia, and then on foot.
Access from Sougia is possible on foot (approximately a couple of hours walk), or by boat. |
