Situated 80 kilometers far from Chania at the South, the beach at the East of Frangokastelo is a beautiful sandy beach with clear water and big sand dunes. The beach is open to the south and affected by southern winds. The eastern part of the beach is kept for nudists.
Not very organised, it offers accommodation facilities, food and drink but no facilities for swimming and sunbathing.
Access from Chania is possible by public bus and rented or private car and motorbike.
Access from Frangokastelo on foot (10 minutes walk). |
