Situated 38 kilometers far from Chania at the East, approximately 700 meters eastern to Georghioupolis, Perastikos beach is in front of a restaurant, by the Perastikos' river.

No accommodation facilities are available, but i t offers good food and cold drinks and, the most important of all, rich shade due to the luxuriant vegetation.

Access from Chania is possible by public bus (up to Georghioupolis), taxi and rented or private car and motorbike.
