Situated some 82 kilometers far from Chania at the South and 1-2 kilometers at the West of Loutro, within a small cove, Phoenix is a pebbly beach with a rocky seabed very good for snorkelling and affected only by the southern winds.

Few facilities of lodging and food and drink are offered to the visitors.

Access from Chania is possible by public bus and rented or private car and motorbike till Chora Sfakion and Loutro.
