Agios Nikitas beach, Heraklion Crete |
Situated at a distance of more than 85 kilometres far from Heraklion at the South - Southeast and some 20 kilometres far from Tsoutsouros, Aghios Nikitas is a pebbly beach affected by the winds; what is interesting is the palm tree wood, fortunately still unknown to big crowds. |

Not organised at all , it does not offer any accommodation or food and drink facilities; you will love the beach only if you are fan of isolation, of natural environment and...of the palm trees. Access from Heraklion is possible only by rented or private cars and motorbikes through a not asphalted roadway from Tsoutsouros. Driving from Maridaki, you will find the beach after you have passed the Monastery of Aghios Nikitas. |
