Fully organised and very close to Heraklion, the
beach offers full accommodation facilities in many hotels of any kind
and category, food and drink in several fish taverns, restaurants, beach
bars and cafes. Facilities for swimming and sunbathing (sunbeds, umbrellas
) and sea sports are also available on the beach.
The short distance (approximately 2 kilometer) from the beaches of Gournes
and Chani Kokkini at the West and Analipsi at the East provide good alterntives
for swimming.
Access from Heraklion is very easy by public bus, running very frequently,
taxi from Heraklion and rented and private car and motorbikes. |
