Achlia beach, Lassithi Crete |

The sandy beach of Achlia is found 50 kilometers far from Aghios Nicolaos at the Southeast and 15 kilometers far from Ierapetra at the East, in front of the homonymous small settlement. The beach is well protected from the winds blowing in the area. It offers some alternatives for accommodation in a hotel and a few rooms to let. Food and drink are available in the few taverns of the small quiet settlement. |

You will enjoy swimming and sunbathing very much, as you will be far from big crowds, at a beach calmer than the nearby more popular ones, without lacking the facilities of a an organised beach (sunbeds, umbrellas, sea sports). Access from Aghios Nicolaos is possible by rented or private car and motorbikes, and by taxi from Ierapetra, which is found close enough. |
