Situated very close to the center of Aghios Nicolaos, the Municipal beach is fully organised and well protected from the winds. As it shares the space with the Mini Golf, there is an admission fee. Although pebbly, it is very popular due to the facilities offered: a lot of grass and trees for shade, sunbeds, umbrellas and showers, swimming pools for adults and for children, sport facilities and a snack bar with cool refreshments and light meals.

Accommodation facilities, as well as facilities for food and drink, nightlife and amusement, shopping, sightseeing and amenities are nearby, as the beach is found within the town of Aghios Nicolaos.
