The long sandy beach of Almyros is the best beach of Aghios Nicolaos; it is situated at a distance of some 1 kilometer far from the center of the town, at the South, within a cove, well protected from the winds. Due to the vicinity to the town, the shallow sea, the sand and the facilities available, it is ideal for families with small children.
