The isolated and peaceful beach of Diaskari is situated at a distance of 62 kilometers far from Aghios Nicolaos at the Northeast, 27 kilometers eastern to Ierapetra and 4 kilometers eastern to the tourist resort of Makrygialos. The beach is not protected from the winds blowing in the area.

Not organised at all, as it also happens with the rest of the beaches up to the tourist resort of Goudouras, the beach is ideal for a relaxing swim in a crystal clear cool sea, without the facilities of the organised beaches, but also without the big crowds of them.

If you insist on more isolation, you may continue for 1-2 kilometers on the dirt track leading to the beach of Langada, which is a clothing optional beach, or farer away at the beach of Moni Kapsa.
