Elounda, northern to the port
The nice sandy beach northern to the small port of Elounda is situated at a distance of 11 kilometers far from Aghios Nicolaos at the North, and 70 -77 kilometers eastern to the International Airport of Heraklion, via the New or the Old National road respectively. Protected by the Spinalonga peninsula, the beach is not affected by the winds.

Fully organised, the beach offers a wide range of accommodation, from luxurious hotels to rooms to let. A lot of taverns, restaurants, bars and cafes offer food, drink and amusement. The beach is well equipped in swimming and sunbathing facilities (sunbeds, umbrellas, showers etc.) as well as in sea sport facilities.

In case of health problems, a local Medical Center is available at the small port of Schisma.

Elounda, southern to the port
Southern to the small port of Elounda it is found this sandy beach, small but very nice. It is situated at a distance of 11 kilometers far from Aghios Nicolaos at the North, and 70 -77 kilometers eastern to the International Airport of Heraklion, via the New or the Old National road respectively. Protected by the Spinalonga peninsula, the beach is not affected by the winds.

Access from Aghios Nicolaos and Heraklion is possible by public bus, running frequently and by rented or private car and motorbikes; from Aghios Nicolaos you can also use a taxi.

Elounda, Rocky beach for nudists
At a distance of some 10 minutes driving from Elounda at the South, 10 kilometers northern to Aghios Nicolaos, it is found this small rocky beach, protected from the winds and nudists tolerant.

The beach is not organised at all, but, being close to the big hotels and other facilities of the tourist resort of Elounda, you will not have a problem. The only “facilities” offered here are the bright sun, the crystal clear blue sea and the peaceful environment, far from big crowds; an ideal choice for nudists and naturists.

Access to the beach from Aghios Nicolaos and Elounda is possible by rented or private car and motorbikes. At the narrow part of land joining Elounda with the rest of the island, just at the windmills, you will follow the dirt track and drive for 10 minutes. At the end of the road you will park your car and walk for a while to reach the rocky beach.

Elounda, the beach at the right of the nudists’ rocky beach
At the right of the rocky beach frequented by nudists, a t a distance of some 10 minutes driving from Elounda at the South, 10 kilometers northern to Aghios Nicolaos, it is found a small but excellent sandy beach, protected from the winds.

The beach is not organised at all, but, being close to the big hotels and other facilities of the tourist resort of Elounda, you will not have a problem for accommodation or food and drink. No facilities are offered, apart from the sea, the sand and the bright sun. Although it is remote enough, the beach is not frequented by nudists, as the excursion boats to Spinalonga sail close enough to the beach.
