The beach of Ferma is situated at a distance of 45 kilometers far from Aghios Nicolaos at the Southeast and 10 kilometers eastern to Ierapetra, just off the homonymous village. It is a sandy beach, within a small cove, well protected from the winds.

Organised well enough, it offers good accommodation facilities in hotels and rooms to let; restaurants, taverns and cafes for food and drink are available both in the village itself and at the nearby settlements and beaches of Aghia Fotia and Galini. Swimming and sunbathing facilities (sunbeds, umbrellas), as well as sea sport facilities are available at the beach.
