The remote and very peaceful beach of Langada is situated at a distance of 64 kilometers far from Aghios Nicolaos at the Northeast, 29 kilometers eastern to Ierapetra and 6 kilometers eastern to the tourist resort of Makrygialos. The beach is not protected from the winds blowing in the area.

Not organised at all, as it also happens with the rest of the beaches up to the tourist resort of Goudouras, the beach is ideal for a relaxing swim in a crystal clear cool sea, without the facilities of the organised beaches, but also without the big crowds of them. And if you wish, you may put off your clothes and swim nude; nobody is going to feel bad; after all you are alone!

If you insist on isolation, you have also the alternative of the beach near the Monastery of Kapsa; you will continue for some 3-4 kilometers on the dirt track leading to the Monastery of Kapsa; the homonymous beach is very close to it.
