The loom and the “sofas”, that is to say the traditional bedroom of the Cretan house, are some of the most interesting exhibits of the museum. You will also see several kitchen utensils and vessels, arms, tools, local folk costumes, hand-woven textiles, embroidery with traditional motifs, wood-carved objects, icons and numerous small pieces which will show you aspects of the everyday life of the Cretan people of past times. |
