It is worth seeing the Platys Potamos ("large river"), passing through the valley of Agia Galini. Don't miss to take a drive to the inland village of Melambes, a scenic village ampritheatrically arranged with a beautiful view of Psiloritis, 9 kilometers far from Agia Galini at the Northwest; a few kilometers more at the North there is the village Orne, at the foot of the mountain Kedros. It is worth visiting "Argo", the Center of Promotion of Fishing Products. The Center has established a small Museum in the old building of the Elementary school of the village.
