Situated at the southern coast of Crete, some 40 kilometers far from Rethymnon at the South, very close to Preveli lagoon at the East, the beach of Drimiskianos is a sandy beach open to the southern winds, not very crowded. The eastern end is nudism tolerant; the rocky ends of the beach are good for snorkelling.

Not much organised, it offers some accommodation facilities and food and drink. Swimming, sunbathing and sea sport facilities and are not available.

Access from Rethymnon is possible by rented or private car and motorbike. You will find the way to the beach on your way to Peveli; you have to take the dirt track from the old stone bridge, at the left as you drive to Preveli.
