Situated 16 kilometers far from Rethymnon, at the West, just off the National Road to Chania, Kavros is a wonderful sandy beach at the northern coast, so it is affected by the "meltemia" (northern summer winds). |

The beach is less organised, offering some accommodation facilities and food and drink. Access from Rethymnon is possible by public bus, taxi and rented or private car and motorbike. |
