Rodakino beach, Rethymnon Crete |

The beach of Rodakino is found 47 kilometers far from Rethymnon at the Southwest, and at a distance of approximately 3 kilometers from the homonymous village. In fact there are three different beaches with pebbles, open to the South and affected by the southern winds. Two out of the three beaches, at the end of the dirt track, offer some facilities for swimming and food and drink. |

The third beach, situated behind a low hill close to the former, has not any kind of facilities. For this reason and because of the difficult access, it is chosen by few people and it is popular to nudists. Due to its rocky seabed it is good for snorkelling. Accommodation facilities in few rooms to let are available in the village of Rodakino. Access to the first two beaches is possible by rented or private car and motorbike; the third, isolated one, is also accessible by car, but don't miss to ask the local for instructions. To reach this beach, a short walk over the small hill is a good alternative. |
