Shinaria beach, Rethymnon Crete |

At a distance of some 35 kilometers far from Rethymnon and 3 kilometers from the village Lefkogeia at the South, it is found the sandy beach of Schinaria, well enough protected from the winds. |

Less organised, it offers few accommodation facilities, food and drink but no facilities for swimming, sunbathing and sea sports. Access from Rethymnon is possible by public bus up to Lefkogeia (32 kilometers far from Rethymnon at the South) and then on foot, but the best way to reach the beach is by rented or private car and motorbikes. |
