As it happens in most of the beaches of Folegandros, no facilities are available at the beach, so if you decide to spend some hours here, don’t forget to bring along water and your umbrella for shade. You will enjoy the rocks surrounding the beach, which look like made of marble. And, those who dive will have the chance to enjoy a wonderful spectacle, as the sea bed here is excellent.
For any problem or emergence you have to return to Chora. Access to the beach is possible by the excursion boats departing from Angali. The boat making the tour of the island usually stops here for a while. Access is also possible on foot from Ano Meria, via the paths (one of them is stone paved) departing from various places at Ano Meria. It will take you one hour of walking to arrive to the beach. The return may take more as it is uphill and pretty tiring. No vehicle can reach the beach. |
