The beach is open to the northeastern, southern and eastern winds. A few tamarisk trees offer some shade. In the afternoon the shade is richer , thanks to the high rocks surrounding the beach. No facilities are available at the beach, so, if you decide to come here, you should bring along water and something to eat, as it is likely that you will like the beach and stay there long enough. You will come here only if you like walking and enjoying swimming in a remote place, within a nice sea, very clean, with transparent water. If you are naturist, no body will be annoyed, as the few people that you might find at the beach are probably doing the same thing.
For any problem you have to return to Chora.
Access to the beach from the sea is possible only by private boat or yacht. Sometimes, if the weather allows it, the excursion boats making the tour of the island may stop here. Access on foot is possible from Ano Meria, where you will arrive by the public bus. There are two paths leading to Serfiotiko. The one departs close to the church of Analipsi and the other just before the small church of Aghios Andreas. Whichever you choose, you will have to walk for 45-50 minutes until arriving to the beach. Of course, you should bear in mind that the way back may take some more time as the path is uphill. |
