Drios beach, Paros Island |
The beautiful beach in front of the small scenic village of Dryos is situated some 22 kilometers far from the town of Paros (Paroikia) at the Southeast. As the beach is well protected from the northern winds, there is a small port suitable for mooring of small fishing and tourist boats. There are several alternatives for accommodation in the settlement. You will taste fresh fish and the local dishes at the seafront fish taverns and you will enjoy nice drinks at the bars of and cafés, along with a nice view of the small islet of Dryonissi across. |

The beach is not organized, but the crystal clear sea and the quiet atmosphere attract those who don’t like big crowds. If you go northern to the settlement, you will swim near the ruins of the ancient dockyards. In case of any problem, the corresponding services of Paroikia, 22 kilometers far away at the Northwest, are available for you. Access to the beach is easy by rented or private car and motorbikes. If you reach the beach by yacht, the small port of the settlement is suitable for mooring. Of course, if you stay in the settlement, you will reach the beach on foot. |
