Due to the vicinity to the town and to its beauty, the beach attracts many people. Some parts of it are well organized with sun beds, umbrellas and a bar at the sea front, but there are also more natural parts, especially those hidden by the rocks, where you may enjoy naturism. As it occurs with the rest of the beaches of the bay of Paroikia, from here you have a nice view of the town and of the surrounding hills. Since the beach is extended enough, whichever part you choose you will have enough space as, despite the big crowds coming here, you will never feel “packed”.

In case of emergence, the corresponding services of the near by capital Paroikia (2,5 kilometers southern to the beach) are available for you.
Access to the beach is easy by taxi, by rented or private car and motorbikes. You may also come to the beach by the excursion boats departing from Paroikia, a means that attracts many people. |
