Molos beach, Paros Island |
The small sandy beach of Molos is situated within a small cove formed by the two hills Kefalos and Antikefalos, in the area of the ancient pottery workshops, at a distance of 17 kilometers southeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia) and very close to the village of Marmara. The beach and the broader area offer several alternatives for accommodation and you will enjoy the local delicacies and fresh fish and seafood in the seafront fish taverns. |

The beach is not organized, but it has deep crystal clear turquoise sea, fine golden sand and an excellent view of Naxos. It is usually quiet, without big crowds and it is ideal for relaxing. At the southern end of the beach you will see the small church of Aghios Nicolaos Plousios (“the rich”), with small fishing boats berthed beside it. Another church of Aghios Nicolaos Ftochos (“the poor”) is found at the northern part of the beach. For any problem you should return to Paroikia, 17 kilometers far away at the Northwest of the beach. Access to the beach is possible by private means, car or motorbikes. |
