The beach of Nea Cryssi Akti, called “Tserdakia” by the locals, is also a long sandy beach, successive to Chryssi Akti. It is situated at a distance of some 26 kilometers southeastern to Paroikia and it is considered as for windsurfing. Thus, in early August, when winds are very strong in the area and in the entire Aegean Sea, it is organized the Professional Windsurfing World Cup, an event that was established in early 1990s’. The best windsurfers worldwide come here to surf in a difficult sea with strong winds.

Accommodation in any kind of lodging is easy to find both at the beach and in the area around, while several taverns, most of them at the seafront, will offer you tasty and good food.

The beach is well organized offering full facilities for sea sports, sunbathing and swimming. Once at the beach you have a nice view of the small islets westwards, fading out in the horizon.

In case of emergence, all the services of the near by Marpissa (some 3 kilometers to the North), or of the town of Paros (Paroikia), some 26 kilometers to the Northwest, are available for you.
