Pounta beach (Chrissi Akti), Paros Island |

The sandy beach of Punta, near Chryssi Akti, is situated some 26 kilometers southeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia). No accommodation facilities are available at the beach, but the area around offers several choices. The beach has not any taverns and restaurants for eating, but the visitor will find beach bars at the seafront which offer refreshments, drinks and music to the numerous swimmers, mainly the younger of them. |

You will enjoy the wonderful sea and at the golden sand, which looks like crescent from above, you will relax under the hot sun or under the shade of the umbrellas. Most of the younger swimmers like very much the sea sport facilities that the beach offers. In case of emergence you should address to the corresponding services of the nearby village of Marpissa, some 2 kilometers northern to the beach, or of Paroikia, 26 kilometers far away at the West. Access from Paroikia is possible by public buses which will drop you at the public road, as well as by rented or private car and motorbikes. |
