The beach, which in fact is divided in two smaller separate beaches, has nice, light colored sand and crystal clear sea. It is well organized, offering a broad range of facilities to the swimmers and it never gets two crowded, which make it an ideal choice for those wishing to enjoy organized beaches without too much noise and people. It is one of the favorite choices for the windsurfers who come here to enjoy their beloved sport. It is ideal for relaxing, especially in the afternoon during the sunset, when the sun hides behind the low hills surrounding the beach. If you like snorkeling, the place will not let you down, as the sea bed is very good for underwater fishing. And, if you simply like to watch and explore underwater life, the diving school available at the beach will help you to enjoy the beauty of the sea and the sea life.
In case of any problem, you may address to the corresponding services of the nearby town of Naoussa (some 2 kilometers at the Southwest), or to the capital Paroikia, 12 kilometers far away, also at the Southwest.
Access to the beach from Paroikia is easy by rented or private car and motorbikes. Access from Naoussa is possible also by taxi or by one of the excursion boats departing daily from the port of the small town. |
