Built in 1878, this beautiful traditional two storey Santorini Mansion is located in the heart of the picturesque village of Megalochori.

This is one of two Mansions in our portfolio that was once owned by the most powerful families on the island.
At the turn of the century the first floor would have been occupied by the family with the ground floor serving as the winery and cellar.

The Visanto produced was exported to Russia, where it was used by the Russian Orthodox Church for Holy Communion. The Russian Revolution had a big impact on the wealth of families in this once flourishing village.
The original structure has been sensitively renovated, and has been restored to its original splendour, retaining the original layout and traditional features.
