Oia is the high spot of the island of Santorini. A beautiful village, traditional pretty houses,unique scenery of the Volcano and the Aegean sea, the world famous sunset, and exciting shops. The place is truly exciting and memorable!! The Kallisti Villa & Studio is situated in the traditional settlement of Oia, in a quiet neighborhood, 10 minutes walking from the center. It was restored in 2007 with respect to the architectural characteristics of the village. The Villa & the Studio are situated on the famous Caldera cliff, overlooking the volcano and the Aegean Sea from over 200 meters in altitude. The view from the Villa is truly breathtaking. You can relax & fix your drinks and light food on the veranda enjoying the view and peacefulness of the scenery. The Villa & Studio are traditional in style and construction. In line with the local traditional architecture they are dug inside into the rock a mixture of lava and pumice stone that eventually led to the creation of a compact soil which is called “aspa”. This results in a delightful cool atmosphere all year round. The inside style is simple and frugal lines which exhale the sense of comfort and distinctive luxury, but also the living in relaxing and comfortable rhythms, make you feel like being in your own home. Kallisti Villa (3-4 persons) A comfortable simple-luxurious accommodation built in the rock, in line with the historic and traditional style of housing in Santorini. It consists of two big arched spaces, one of which is the sitting room with a stone made sofa bed and a kitchen, with a dining area. The second one is the master bedroom with a shower room. The floors throughout the house are of traditional polished cement. The balcony provides a unique view to the Caldera. The place is fully furnished and has all the equipment for comfortable living. Studio (2 people) Traditional style built in the rock consists of a bedroom, shower room and a small private balcony with a table and chairs, simple and comfortable. It is air- conditioned, with refrigerator & coffee machine. The Studio is autonomous, build over the villa & has beautiful view to the Caldera. |
