The beach of Chryssopege is in fact the rocky coast in front of the peninsula with the homonymous monastery. It is situated at the southern coast of the island, between Faros and Platys Gialos, at a distance of 8 kilometers southeastern to Apollonia. Accommodation and other facilities are available in the area around. |

Chrysopege is a place for daring and expert swimmers; the conventional swimmers will not find any facilities there. In case of emergence you should address to the corresponding services of the capital Apollonia, some 8 kilometers northwestern to the beach. Access to the beach from Kamares or from Apollonia is possible only by private means (car and motorbikes). |
