Epta Martyres beach, Sifnos Island |
The small rocky coast of Epta Martyres (“seven martyrs” in Greek) is situated just below Kastro, a bit northern to the village, in front of the homonymous country church, at a distance of 4 kilometers eastern to Apollonia. Accommodation facilities are plenty in the broader area and food is nice in the scenic fish taverns at the sea front. The visitor will also have the chance to take photos of the small church, the sea and the unforgettable landscape. |

For any problem the corresponding services of Apollonia, 4 kilometers far from the beach to the West, are available for you. Access from Kastro is possible on foot, stepping down the stairs leading down to the sea; you will follow the signs indicating “Epta Martyres”. From Kamares or Apollonia you will arrive to Kastro by public buses or by taxi. If you reach the place by private means (car or motorbikes), you have to leave your vehicle at the parking found at the end of the circular road of the village. |
