Ambela beach, Syros Island |

The sandy beach of Ambela is situated within a small cove close to Megas Gialos, at a distance of 12,5 kilometers far from Hermoupolis at the Southwest. It is a pretty secluded beach with nice sand and shade from trees, well protected from the northern winds. |

The beach is not organised. Accommodation, food and drink and other facilities are available at the near by settlement of Megas Gialos. For any problem you should address to the corresponding services of Hermoupolis, 12,5 kilometers northeastern to the beach. Access to the beach is possible from Megas Gialos (1,5 kilometers far away to the northeast), or via a footpath, passing by the small country church of Aghia Thekla. |
