The village offers several alternatives for accommodation and other facilities to those who choose this place for spending their holidays. There are also several taverns and cafés, at the sea front or in short distance from the sea, which attract many people who come here to enjoy the gorgeous food and the view they offer. For swimming you may choose either the lovely sandy beach in front of the settlement, or the near by beaches of Kokkina (meaning “red” in Greek) and Psachno (meaning … “lean” in Greek). If you are around by the end of July it is worth attending the local religious feast (“panughyri”) taking place on the 27th of July, in honor of Aghios Panteleimonas. |
