Kokkina beach, Syros Island |

The beach of Kokkina (“red” in Greek) is situated one kilometer after Foinikas and some 12 kilometers southwestern to Hermoupolis. The beach is well protected from “meltemia” (the northern summer winds). The beach is not organized; accommodation and other facilities are available at the nearby resort of Foinikas. |

Kokkina is a lovely beach with sand and small shiny pebbles. In case of emergence the corresponding services of Hermoupolis (12 kilometers far away to the Northeast) are available for you. Access to the beach is easy from Foinikas. |
