Apella is the most well known beach of Karpathos. It is a sandy beach with nice white sand and pebbles and with crystal clear deep sea. It is situated some 16 kilometers northern to Pigadia, within a fascinating pine-clad environment.

You can access the beach by car, via the road departing from the village of Aperi; the closest settlement to the beach is Myrtonas, some 2 kilometers far away. The beach is also accessible by excursion boats departing from Pigadia.
