Diakoftis beach, Karpathos Island |

The beautiful beach of Diakoftis is situated at the southwestern coast of the island, some 21 kilometers far from Pigadia. It is a sandy beach with nice white sand and crystal clear sea, situated within a wonderful landscape. |

The last 6 kilometers of the road to the beach are a dirt road. From the beach you may also reach the nearby village of Arkassa at the North, following the road to Pigadia, a pretty difficult drive. In the area of Arkassa you will find the excellent secluded beach “ tou Mihaliou o kepos” (“the garden of Michael”) and the beaches of Psoraris and Punta, all of them sandy. You will reach the beaches following the short deviations from the way to Arkassa. |
