Agios Fokas beach, Kos Island |

The nice beach of Agios Fokas is located in front of the homonymous tourist resort, some 8 kilometers far from the town of Kos at the Southeast and 2 kilometers far from the hot springs of Thermes. A part of the beach has nice black sand and pebbles, whereas in the rest of it, also with sand and pebbles, the sand is white and sparkling. The beach is well organized: it offers swimming and sunbathing facilities (umbrellas, sun beds) and sea sports facilities. Moreover, if you wish to have a cool refreshment, a snack or even a full meal several traditional taverns or restaurants are available. |

The place is ideal for windsurfing and, if you are fan of this sport, you will have an unforgettable experience. One of the pros of the beach is the excellent view of the sea; if you are there in the afternoon, when the horizon slowly gets red as the sun disappears in the sea, you will enjoy a wonderful sunset and you will have the chance to take fascinating landscape photos. Health services are available at the nearby town of Kos (10 kilometers far away at the Northwest). Access to the beach is very easy from the town of Kos by bus, running regularly, by taxi as well as by rented of private car and motorbikes. If you are fan of the bicycle, you may also reach the beach that way. |
