Other Beaches in Kefalos Bay and the area around, Kos Island |
|
Langades (Banana) - Chrysi Akti (Golden Beach) – Xerokambos (Exotic Beach) – Sunny Beach or Psilos Gremos – Marcos Beach – Tropical Beach. All these beaches are in fact parts of the long beach of Kefalos Bay. They are found among the other ones and owe their different name to a characteristic feature of the area or to a café or tavern. They are situated at a distance less than 40 kilometers far from the town of Kos at the Southwest. |

All of them are easily accessible from the town of Kos, from Kamari, the port of Kefalos, from Aghios Stefanos, or from the bus stop at Paradise beach. The best way to arrive there is by rented or private car and motorbikes. Wandering in the area you will discover dirt tracks and foot paths that lead to secluded beaches, or to “private” parts of the long popular beaches. As these parts are not very easily accessible, you may enjoy naturism, provided that the beach has not much people. |
