Lambi beach, Kos Island |
|
The long sandy beach of Lambi is situated just off the town of Kos, at the western end of it. It is more than 1000 meters long and a very popular beach, attracting many tourists, thanks to the vicinity to the town and its facilities. Very well organized at all the length, both in front of the hotels and at the free parts, the beach has enough natural green and shadow and offers any kind of facility. If you choose this beach for swimming, you will enjoy the nice sea and sea sports, along with the advantages of a well organized beach. Access to the beach is very easy by all means of transportation (buses, taxis, private and rented cars and motorbikes), but also by bicycle and on foot. |

Other beaches of the town of Kos There are several smaller or bigger sandy beaches at the town of Kos. All of them are well organized and access is easy on foot or by bicycle. Their most important advantage is that, being within the town, everything is very close: the lodgings, the taverns and restaurants, the market. Apart from Lambi, the most well known of them is Meropida and the nearby beaches, just off the town of Kos, on the way to Aghios Focas. All of them are easily accessible from the town center, even by bicycle or on foot. |
