Limnionas beach, Kos Island |
|
Situated at the northwestern coast of the island, the beach of Limnionas is found some 43 kilometers far from the town of Kos at the Southwest). Very close to the inland village of Kefalos (some 5 kilometers at the North), it serves as its port at the northern coast of the island. The beach is rather well organised and several swimming and sunbathing facilities are available. |

For health problems, a local Medical Center is available at Kefalos (5 kilometers southern to the beach), where you will also find a Police Station. Access from the town of Kos is possible by rented or private car and motorbikes. There are two ways to reach the beach: either you arrive to Kefalos and then drive northwards for 5 kilometers. Or, you turn right some 3,5 kilometers before arriving to Kefalos and follow the road, drive for some 3,5 kilometers and then turn right again and drive for another 3 kilometers. |
