Paradise beach, Kos Island |
The Paradise Beach is situated at the southwestern coast of the island, close enough to Kefalos (some 7 kilometers before arriving to the village) and at a distance of 33 kilometers far from the town of Kos at the Southwest. It is a beach worth of its name, with fine sand, cool and calm sea, much calmer than the beaches of the northern coast. It is very well organized, offering swimming and sunbathing facilities (umbrellas, sun beds), as well as sea sport facilities. |

The sea front taverns offer good food, especially fresh fish, brought every day by the fishing boats of the area. Due to all these advantages, the beach is one of the most popular of the island, attracting many tourists. Health services are available in the local Medical Center of Kefalos (7 kilometers far away). Access from the town of Kos is possible by bus, running regularly (there is a bus stop at the beach), by rented or rented car and motorbike. |
