Pserimos is a small island situated between Kos and Kalymnos, at short distance from both (some 6 nautical miles Northern to Kos) and close enough to the Turkish coast across.
Its extent is some 15 square kilometers and the few permanent residents, some 100 people, are occupied in fishing and tourism.
The island is a popular destination for tourists who arrive here from Kos or Kalymnos by the small excursion boats departing daily in summer. It is a good alternative for those wishing to avoid the crowded and organized beaches of Kos or Kalymnos.
The best thing worth seeing on the island is...the island itself! You will find nice beaches with excellent sand for swimming, sunbathing and relaxing; if you like walking, the island offers a nice landscape worth exploring by walking.
If you decide to change your daily excursion to a longer staying, some rooms to let are available for accommodation.
One of the pros of the island is its small cute taverns, offering fresh fish and seafood and gorgeous dishes of authentic local cooking.
In case of health problems, you should address to the Health Services of the town of Kos or Kalymnos.
Access to the island is easy both from Kos and Kalymnos, by excursion boats, with very frequent service; there is also a small ferryboat. If you have your own yacht or boat, the small port of the islet offers some facilities for mooring.
