Big Blue Surf Center is sited on the beach, in front of Oceanis Beach Hotel on the north east coast of Kos Island.
The area is called Psalidi and it is well known for the Meltemi, the strong north/northwest wind which is blowing cross off shore from the left almost every day during the summer season.
The sailing area has a slight wind shadow depending on the wind direction in shore and on the outside wind created waves up to 1 m high.
Best suited to intermediate windsurfers and above.
