The long sandy beach of the town of Rhodes, or Elli beach is one of the most popular beaches of the sand, extended all along the Casino and the Aquarium. The sea is crystal clear and usually calm and the beach is wide enough with thick sand which, at the edge of the sea, is mixed with fine pebbles.
