Peiraiki - Zea Harbor

having completed your tour at the central harbor of Piraeus you will then head south traversing the peninsula and arrive at Peiraiki one of the most picturesque neighborhoods in the city, perfect for a stroll. Here we find the remnants of the long wall that united Riraeus with the city of Athens in antiquity and old buildings which the Municipality has taken care to properly maintain.

One of the most faschinating points of Piraeus is along the Zea harbor, one of the largest marinas in Europe, with countless boats and yachts, restaurants and entertainment centers.
.
The Naval Museum is also located here, in Zea marina square.

Continuing on your tour you will enter the small Bay of Pasalimani, an area containing a number of marinas which start at Freatida and goes all the way to Alexandras Square.

the entire length of the waterfront has wonderful establishments for food, ice-cream and coffee and there are entertainment centers as well.
.
At night it seems even more luminous and magical!
You can continue your tour along the waterfront heading toward Kastella but a small deviation toward the city center will be useful if you want to visit the verdant square of the Municipal Theater. The Town Hall and the Library complete the picture presented by the main square of the city.
