The history of Crete can be easily defined with the separation of it into the following three chronic periods : Prehistoric and Minoan Times (6,000 B.C. - 1,100 B.C.) Ancient Times (1,100 B.C. - 330 A.D.) Byzantine, Medieval and Modern Times (330 A.D. up today)
